A complete list of actions

I give here the list of actions to be done at the beginning of semester which saves a lot of time later

Microsoft Teams

Your actions depend heavily on the way the system administrators create teams for teachers. This may vary from the chaotic creation, when every teacher creates her or his teams herself (himself) to the automatic teams creation using the SDS administrative tool and the SIS of the University. However, the best possible system now is to have an mConnect+ license from Skooler. In this case old classes can be used as many times as one wishes. Students from the previous semester can be removed from the Moodle class associated with the Team (except for one test student) and the class will be filled in dynamically. In this case all materials in Files and Class Notebook remain unchanged. You may only add some new ones.

In the chaotic case you can easily remove all students manually.

Click 1 and then select the settings

Open the list of students (press 1) and then delete them one by one by pressing 2.

If you have the same class in Moodle, then you may invite students to your Team by code. Either place the announcement in the Moodle class with the generated code or just send students it by e-mail. Do not forget to generate another one then every student will be registered in the Team. How to do this I explain on the Teams page of this site.

When your students are in the Team you may edit the corresponding SharePoint site to place new announcements. Do not forget to place all instructions for your students in the file tab of the Team. If it is a new team, then do not forget to add Insights tab and Microsoft Math tab.

In two weeks the class roaster will stabilise and you may get the csv file of the team using the PowerShell. It is necessary to do this to be able to create the Grade Book for the class, Activity Book, the recovery file in Notepad and the csv file for Jibble.

As soon as these files are created we produce the corresponding Microsoft Lists for the Grade Book and Activity. Both lists must be placed in the SharePoint of another team, which does not have students as members. This is important since then it is easy to arrange things so, that students will see only their own grades and activities.

I use Jibble for an automatic facial control.  I use Kaizala Pro for attendance with facial and location control. I use Power Automate to send messages to Kaizala groups automatically.
